About

Invested in Australia’s clean-energy future.

Fortitude Renewables is a Sydney-based renewable-energy investor and developer of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage across Australia. We design, finance and deliver the generation and storage that keeps the grid reliable as the National Electricity Market shifts to renewable power.

Approach

How we work.

We take a long-term view. We develop, finance and hold energy infrastructure built to perform for decades rather than to trade. The same discipline runs from first site assessment through grid connection to long-term asset management.

Patient capital

We back projects with long-term capital and develop them to institutional standards. Holding assets for the long term aligns our interests with the landholders, communities and networks that host them.

Disciplined development

Every project moves through rigorous origination, approvals, grid connection and financing before it is built. We would rather develop fewer projects well than many quickly.

Lasting partnerships

Utility-scale energy is a multi-decade commitment to a region. We work closely with landholders, local communities and network operators, and we plan to be there for the life of every asset.

Capabilities

What we do.

Fortitude works across the full project life cycle, from securing land and grid capacity through funding, delivery and long-term management of utility-scale solar and battery storage.

Development

We take greenfield sites through planning approvals, grid connection and land rights to Ready to Build, focused on the Renewable Energy Zones of New South Wales.

Investment

We fund early-stage development and partner with strategic capital to carry projects through to financial close and construction.

Asset management

As projects reach operation, we manage them for performance and availability across the National Electricity Market, holding assets for the long term.

Land origination

We identify and secure land with good solar resource and grid capacity, working directly with landholders on long-term agreements.
